Ladybird beaded bead for IBW 2020

Ladybird beaded beads

I designed this little beaded bead (its diameter is just 12 mm) exclusively for International Beading Week 2020.
I named my creation Ladybird Beaded Bead, because the red one remembers me to a tiny cute ladybird.

If you create one piece it can be used as a tiny pendant. From two pieces you can make a pair of earrings. From more pieces you can create longer earrings, and if you can’t stop beading them – as I did 🙂 – you can make a bracelet, or a whole necklace from them.

Aglio beaded bead

aglio beaded bead beading tutorial

Aglio beaded bead is a part of my Aglio jewellery collection. The name Aglio means garlic. The structure of the beaded bead contains 5 “cloves” and when I created a pendant from it, and attached the bead cap to the beaded bead, its shape reminded me of a garlic (hence the name).
The Aglio pendant offers you more options to wear it:

Beaded beads in different lighting…

beaded beads beading tutorial with Flat Chenille Stitch by Diána Balogh

Beaded beads in different lighting…

I recommend you the Lantern Beaded Beads, if you like transparent glass beads, glowing colours, gold, richly decorated beadworks and beaded beads. You don’t need any special beads to create them. I only used Czech fire polished beads, and Japanese Toho seed beads in two sizes (11 and 15) for this project. You can make a funny light string for summer nights, if you put the beaded beads onto the Christmas lights.

Bracelet beading tutorial: Andrea Bracelet

bracelet beading tutorial, Andrea bracelet by Diána Balogh

New bracelet beading tutorial

I designed the Andrea bracelet to match the Mangala pendant. You can create it with Swarovski bicone crystals. The shine of the crystals gives an elegant antique look to the bracelet (the silver bracelet on the photos). If you ran out the bicone crystals, you can use fire polished beads instead. They produce perfect result too (the antique brown and the black-green-blue-purple bracelets).

Although I write very detailed step by step instructions and guide you from the first step to the last with drawings, photos and explanations, I only recommend you this tutorial, if you are an practised beader, with RAW and CRAW experience.

Ramya beaded beads – New beading tutorial

beading tutorial Ramya beaded bead by Diána Balogh

Ramya beaded beads are simple, easy to make, but first of all wearable beaded beads. You don’t need to put any beads or pearls inside this beadwork, because it has a self-supporting structure, what gives a beautiful lacy appearance to it. This is a “no-special-bead” project, you need only Japanese Toho seed beads (size 11/0, and 15/0) and Czech fire polished beads (size 3 mm and 4 mm) to create it.
