Description

You can use the barrel bead in beading tutorials, where you need a 40 x 12 mm wooden bead, for example my Baroness beaded bead (see on the picture above).

This tutorial DOES NOT teach how to make to Baroness bead, ONLY the barrel shaped polymer clay bead, which can be used as a substitute for the 40×12 mm wooden bead mentioned in the Baroness bead tutorial.

Materials you need:

  • Polymer Clay (for example Fimo or Sculpey)
  • Cutting blade
  • Thick needle (or meat needle)
  • Ruler
  • Work surface (plastic film or backing paper)
  • Wire
  • Wet and Dry sandpaper (range of grits400 or 600)
  • Dish of water
