Beading tutorial Hope bracelet and pendant

One of my favourite customers asked me to design a very simple, feminine pendant: a 12 mm rivoli surrounded by tiny flowers.
She bought two dozen sweaters for women who came from low-income families, are in shelters or getting back in the work force. She wanted to bead a small pendant to donate along with the sweaters, something pretty but not something, that would cause the women harm in anyway.
“I just wanted to make a little something special for them that they cannot buy in the store.”
I designed a little pendant: only 6 tiny flowers around a 12 mm rivoli, that’s all. I am satisfied with the result, this is exactly what I wanted to create: a tiny, delicate, low-key feminine piece. The diameter is 1.5 cm. I used 11/0 seed beads, and some 15/0 seed beads for this piece.
I like it so much, that I created a bracelet with the same design as well. It became a perfect spring piece. I gave it the name “Hope”: because of the ladies who will receive the pendants, and because of the spring, which will hopefully bring us a better year than the previous one.
